Responsibility is blurred
Important work sits between roles, teams or organisational layers without clear ownership.
BH Executive Systems helps boards and executive teams identify where responsibility, decision-making and execution are breaking down—and strengthen the systems that carry important decisions through.

When BHES helps
Important work sits between roles, teams or organisational layers without clear ownership.
Matters circulate, wait or return without a clear decision path or point of closure.
Work loses momentum as it moves between people, functions or levels of authority.
Risks and unresolved matters reach the right authority only after options have narrowed.
Recurring failures are treated as isolated events rather than signs of a systemic constraint.
A decision is made, but its intent weakens as it moves into management and operations.
The BHES approach
BHES examines how authority and decisions move through an organisation: where decision rights become unclear, accountability weakens, handoffs fail, escalation breaks down or closure is not secured.
Define the decision or organisational problem, the scope to be examined and the evidence required.
Examine decision rights, accountability, handoffs, escalation, closure and the constraints shaping performance.
Provide independent, evidence-led advice that is clear, proportionate and capable of implementation.
What distinguishes the work
Conclusions are formed from the available evidence, not the answer most convenient to produce.
Findings, inferences, conclusions and recommendations remain distinct and proportionate.
Advice is designed to be clear, structurally coherent and capable of being carried into practice.
